Panasonic shooters get left out of most tethering conversations. Lightroom Classic's tethering list doesn't include Panasonic at all. Here's how to tether a LUMIX to a Mac anyway.

Short version: Set USB Mode to PC(Tether), not PC(Storage). Plug in a data cable, open TETHER STUDIO, press Space. WiFi works on LUMIX bodies with WiFi.
